Short Bio

I am an Assistant Professor of Fluid Mechanics in Polytechnic University of Catalonia, where I am an active member of the Department of Physics within the DF-GeoTech (Fluid Dynamics and Geophysical and Technological Applications) research group.

Previously, I was a FWF ESPRIT Fellow at the Institute of Science and Technology Austria, where I worked with Prof. Björn Hof at the Nonlinear Dynamics and Turbulence group. I was the Principal Investigator of the project entitled “Pattern Formation Mechanisms in Planar Shear Flows” funded by the Austrian Science Fund Agency (Grant DOI: 10.55776/ESP1481224). Earlier, I started my postdoctoral research at the same research group as a Marie Sklodowska-Curie Fellow (Grant agreement no.: 101034413).

I hold a PhD. in Aerospace Science and Technology (2022) in Polytechnic University of Catalonia within the Nonlinear Fluid Dynamics group. My research project, supervised by Dr. Alvaro Meseguer and Dr. Fernando Mellibovsky, was focusing in the transitional regimes of shear and centrifugal flows.

I obtained my B.Eng. in Aeronautical Engineering: Air Navigation (2012) and my M.Eng. Aeronautical Engineering (2015) both in Polytechnic University of Catalonia, in Castelldefels and Terrassa campus, respectively.
